I've learnt and be reminded..

.. of a few things about the will of God for my life and His plans for me.

1) His will for my life, and yours; never changes.
- His will is for us to be sanctified (to be made holy, to be more and more like Him)

2) His plans for my life and yours, however, is subject to change.
- His plans are dependent on my choices in life.
- E.g. choosing a partner, place to work in, to live.
- Just as Christianity is a relationship, so too He gives me freedom of choice in working in partnership with Him.

3) Both His plans and His will are GOOD.
- And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him. (Romans 8:28)
- They are good even in spite of the circumstances.

4) There is always always hope for the future in Him.
- There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18)

5) The past might have shaped me, but it doesn't have to determine who I can be/will be in the future.
- The pages of my life are still yet to be written. And yours too =)
- God knows the story, but He lets us hold the pen--He gives us autonomy.
